Resource and Information Coordinator - KYRC - Brand Office (Bilingual Armenian/English Pref.)

Salary Range

$3,508 to $5,152

Summary

Under the direction of the Director, KYRC, the Resource and Information Coordinator is primarily responsible for the staffing of the KYRC Help Desk. The incumbent is responsible for providing resource and information to Center staff, clients, families, professionals and other community members in all areas related to developmental disabilities, service supports and community resources.

To perform effectively in this position, the incumbent must be able to interface with all Center staff, clients and families, patrons, and the community at large in a professional and effective manner. Will possess strong communication skills, have the ability to multi-task, and handle all matters of the Help Desk in a tactful and timely manner. In addition, will possess the ability to establish positive working relationships with all Resource Center patrons; both internal and external, be able to work well under pressure, be organized and detail oriented, and have exceptional customer service skills.

Education & Experience

The incumbent will be required to have a bachelor’s degree preferably in the field of social services. In addition, incumbent will have a minimum of 1-3 years of experience working with families and individuals with developmental disabilities and/or resource, information and referral.  

Substantial equivalents may be substituted for the above requirements.

Valid California driver’s license, current automobile insurance and adequate transportation to fulfill the position responsibilities is also required.

Bilingual Armenian/English highly preferred.
