California law and regulation requires that regional centers display on their Web sites information about the dollar value of services they purchase for clients. These data (called "purchase of service" or "POS" data) must be reported separately by clients' ethnic/racial group, langauge and diagnosis.
Orientation to Behavioral Services
Frank D. Lanterman Regional Center's Orientation to Behavioral Services is a one-time training developed to provide parents and caregivers of regional center clients with information on the types of behavioral services that are provided through Lanterman. The orientation is a mandatory first step for any family considering behavioral services. The orientation is offered as a live instructor led training conducted at Lanterman Regional Center or community locations or online.
ORIENTATION TO BEHAVIORAL SERVICES - ONLINE TRAINING
If you cannot attend the orientation in person, you may take the 30 minute Orientation to Behavioral Services online at your own pace. The orientation will cover the steps to receiving behavior services at Lanterman and the options available.
To register and take the Orientation to Behavioral Services online, go to Lanterman Parent Learning Center, and follow the instructions. (Download the Instructions for Using the Lanterman Parent Learning Center Online) You will need to know your child’s UCI Number (#) to complete the registration process and take the training online. Additional Information
Parents must complete the Behavioral Services Orientation prior to registering for instructor-led or online Behavior Management Workshops. Completion of Behavior Management Workshops is mandatory for families requesting in-home behavioral services.
