Under the general direction of the Assistant Director, Programs and Services Division, the Regional Manager is a key management position within the Center and is a member of the leadership team. The manager has an overall responsibility for the management of either a regional or specialized unit; this includes planning, day-to-day management, supervision of professional and support staff assigned, monitoring and evaluating the work of the unit. Assignment varies and may include Intake and Assessment, service coordination, or specialized service coordination such as early intervention or aging.
Incumbent will also provide leadership to the unit towards the mission and vision of the Center and promotes the strategic direction. This position ensures that standards are maintained, staff comply with regulations and policies and procedures, and that reports, statistic and other required documentation are accomplished and submitted in a timely and professional manner. Regional Managers assist with the development and implementation of quality enhancements activities and are responsible for implementing Self Directed Work Teams, providing leadership, education, and ongoing mentoring.
Education & Experience
A bachelor’s degree in social, behavioral, special education, early childhood education or related human service field and four years increasing responsible related professional experience, preferably working with persons with developmental disabilities and previous supervisory experience. A master’s degree may substitute up to two years of experience.
A valid California driver’s license and current automobile insurance is a must. Candidate will also have adequate transportation to fulfill position responsibilities as required.
