Young Adults with ASD and Social Relationships with Robyn Steward

The Nathanson Family Resource Center and The UCLA Center for Autism Research andTreatment (CART) are pleased to present Robyn Steward who will give an informative talk about her life with Asperger's Disorder, and will provide practical strategies on how young adults can learn to cope with social struggles (e.g. peer relationships, bullying, safety, and emotional competence).

Steward is a trainer and mentor specializing in Asperger’s Disorder and uses paintings and music to express her view of the world to others. After struggling in a mainstream school in England, Steward attended college and began to become more involved in informing others about Autism Spectrum Disorders. She now gives talks at colleges, schools, universities and businesses as well as mentoring young people with autism. Visit http://robynsteward.com/ for more information about the speaker.

This event is free to the public, but seating is limited. RSVP to 310.794.9584 or mcastaneda@mednet.ucla.edu.
