The California Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities (CCEPD) has released the Workforce Best Practices for People with Disabilities Toolkit - October 2023 (PDF).
They are highlighting best practices and models used by organizations throughout California to serve people with disabilities, as part of National Disability Employment Awareness Month. We hope many of these practices and models will be of use to you, as you serve people with disabilities. Many of the practices and models can be replicated in varying degrees in your organizations.
Also, please join them in a webinar on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at 10 a.m. to discuss the toolkit. Members of the CCEPD will outline those best practices.

California law and regulation requires that regional centers display on their Web sites information about the dollar value of services they purchase for clients. These data (called "purchase of service" or "POS" data) must be reported separately by clients' ethnic/racial group, langauge and diagnosis.

Regional centers must post information regarding how providers are doing with ensuring individuals served are part of their communities (Welfare and Institutions Code section 4519.2(b)). This information is to be updated at least every six months until DDS has determined that statewide compliance has been met.
