Children’s Institute, Inc. presents its Incredible Years Program, which is focused on building positive parent‐child relationships. Incredible Years (IY) teaches evidence‐based parenting skills to help manage children’s behavioral problems. This program also includes Social Skills training utilizing two components: “Dinosaur School” for children ages 4‐8, and “Right Choices Life Success Skills” for children ages 9‐12.
The components of IY are very interactive and focus on promoting positive behaviors utilizing puppets, videos, role plays and educational games. As the parent/caregiver, you will learn: to play with your child, to use positive praising skills, to ignore negative behaviors, to use rewards positively, to instill effective limit setting and timeouts.
