The goal of the Early Start Transition Conference is to inform parents about the transition process when their child graduates from Early Start and transitions into the school district’s special education programs. Parents will learn about their role, how to be prepared for their IEP meeting, and what to expect during the transition.

El objetivo de la Conferencia de Transición de Early Start (Intervención Temprana) es informar a los padres sobre el proceso de transición cuando sus hijos se gradúan de Early Start y pasan a los programas de educación especial del distrito escolar. Los padres aprenderán acerca de su función, cómo estar preparados para su reunión del IEP y qué esperar de la transición.

California law and regulation requires that regional centers display on their Web sites information about the dollar value of services they purchase for clients. These data (called "purchase of service" or "POS" data) must be reported separately by clients' ethnic/racial group, langauge and diagnosis.

Regional centers must post information regarding how providers are doing with ensuring individuals served are part of their communities (Welfare and Institutions Code section 4519.2(b)). This information is to be updated at least every six months until DDS has determined that statewide compliance has been met.
