Topics will include how to best support LGBTQIA+ individuals with developmental disabilities in all areas of their identity. In this workshop parents, caregivers, and self-advocates will hear from various speakers who will provide information on:
Speakers will provide guidance on how parents and other circle of support members can create a supportive environment for their loved one who identifies as LGBTQIA+. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask the speakers questions at the conclusion of the presentation

Regional centers must post information regarding how providers are doing with ensuring individuals served are part of their communities (Welfare and Institutions Code section 4519.2(b)).
