California law and regulation requires that regional centers display on their Web sites information about the dollar value of services they purchase for clients. These data (called "purchase of service" or "POS" data) must be reported separately by clients' ethnic/racial group, langauge and diagnosis.
Sibs in Advocacy
West Coast Sibs presents Sibs in Advocacy, the second biennial National Siblings Day Celebration event on Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
Hosted by Washington State Sibs, OregonSibs and CaliforniaSibs, collectively titled "West Coast Sibs," the event brings the community together in a celebration and educational event where they'll spotlight Sibs (siblings of people with disabilities) who are driving progress in policies affecting family caregiving.
Hear panel members share their experiences on topics including:
- Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
- Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS)
- Healthy Relationships and Safety
- Continue to learn during topic-specific Q&A sessions and a call to advocacy in your own life.
- Explore how to collectively influence systems change.
