California law and regulation requires that regional centers display on their Web sites information about the dollar value of services they purchase for clients. These data (called "purchase of service" or "POS" data) must be reported separately by clients' ethnic/racial group, langauge and diagnosis.
Service Provider Rate Study Presentations and Input
The Burns & Associates (B&A) Provider Rate Study has been completed and will be presented to the California Legislature on March 15, 2019. B&A and the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) are seeking provider input on the rate study and the proposed rate-setting models. Comments must be received at DDS by April 5, 2019.
Lanterman’s Service Provider Advisory Committee had a presentation on the rate study and the proposed models at their March 6 meeting and recommended sharing the information with service providers in small groups to better facilitate dialogue and gather your input. A link to the rate study can be found at www.dds.ca.gov.
