Self-Determination Program Information Session - English/Spanish - Glendale

The Self-Determination Program (SDP) is a voluntary, alternative to the traditional way of providing Regional Center services.

Lanterman will be holding two information sessions in Glendale at the Pacific Community Center on February 8, 2018. Spanish will be from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. and English from 6 to 7 p.m.

Who is eligible for the SDP?

  • Must be a Lanterman client over the age of 3
  • Live at home or in community
    (Not eligible if you live in certain types of long-term care facilities, unless you’re in the process of moving into the community)
  • Be willing to receive training, attend a mandatory information session and comply with the program’s rules

Due to security reasons, access to the building requires that all visitors carry a picture ID.

Parking: Available in the parking structure behind Lanterman on Berendo Avenue. Parking tickets will not be validated. Parking fees are $6.50 prior to 10 a.m. entry, otherwise the rate is $2 for every 15 minutes with a maximum rate of $16 for all day parking. There is metered parking on the street. Watch street signs. Lanterman is 2 blocks west of the Metro Red Line Wilshire/Vermont Station.
