California law and regulation requires that regional centers display on their Web sites information about the dollar value of services they purchase for clients. These data (called "purchase of service" or "POS" data) must be reported separately by clients' ethnic/racial group, langauge and diagnosis.
PUSD/SELPA CAC April Meeting ~ Transitions: What to Expect and How to Prepare
The April Pasadena Unified School District/SELPA Special Education Department Community Advisory Committee meeting will focus on transitions, including what to expect and how to prepare. The evening will feature a conversation with: Jim Albanese, Principal, Focus Point Academy and PALS; Marcie Kohl-Peoples, Program Specialist, Special Education; Jeff Cerveny, Teacher, Blair High School; and John Huntley, Teacher, John Muir High School. Plus an introductin of Dr. Jason, Executive Director of Special Education.
The meeting is scheduled for Monday, April 16, 2012 from 6:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Edison Professional Development Complex, 119 W. Palm Avenue, Altadena. Free childcare and translation. For more information and questions, contact Joy Costello at joycac1@gmail.com.
