California law and regulation requires that regional centers display on their Web sites information about the dollar value of services they purchase for clients. These data (called "purchase of service" or "POS" data) must be reported separately by clients' ethnic/racial group, langauge and diagnosis.
Project ECHO: Creating Inclusive Medical Settings
The UC Davis ECHO: Creating Inclusive Medical Settings learning series begins this Spring. ECHO is a free, virtual, collaborative learning environment that focuses on improving access and quality of care for neurodiverse individuals and families. This series is for primary care providers, medical specialists, nurses, mental health providers, social workers, and other community care providers.
The upcoming ECHO series will meet every first and second Thursday from April 4 - June 13, 2024 from 12:00 to 1:15 p.m. (PST) on Zoom. ECHO is an "all teach, all learn" model that uses interactive learning to build knowledge through case presentations and discussion. Topics will include environmental adaptations to support sensory differences, partnering with caregivers, and evidence-based practices to support successful medical visits.
