California law and regulation requires that regional centers display on their Web sites information about the dollar value of services they purchase for clients. These data (called "purchase of service" or "POS" data) must be reported separately by clients' ethnic/racial group, langauge and diagnosis.
Healthy Babies, Healthy Futures
South Los Angeles Best Babies Collaborative Healthy Births training session will focus on:
- Increasing awareness of prematurity and infant mortality in African American communities
- Empowering women to have the healthiest pregnancy through preconception care
- Decreasing and working together to eliminate the number of African American babies that die
Space is limited and snacks will be served. RSVPs are required by March 23, 2012.
