California law and regulation requires that regional centers display on their Web sites information about the dollar value of services they purchase for clients. These data (called "purchase of service" or "POS" data) must be reported separately by clients' ethnic/racial group, langauge and diagnosis.
Funding Sources for Assistive Technology Webinar
The Webinar presentation hosted by Lanterman and ATEC will cover the various funding sources for Assistive Technology (AT) devices, including but not limited to: regional center, school districts, Department of Rehabilitation, insurance, etc. The presenters are Scarlett VonThenen and Yolanda Cruz-Zinn, State Council on Developmental Disabilities Area Board XI.
The intended audience is anyone interested in learning more about AT funding, including people who use AT, parents, family members, caregivers, case managers, therapists, educators and professionals.
