California law and regulation requires that regional centers display on their Web sites information about the dollar value of services they purchase for clients. These data (called "purchase of service" or "POS" data) must be reported separately by clients' ethnic/racial group, langauge and diagnosis.
Understanding the Regional Center
This orientation session provides basic necessary information and knowledge about the regional center system, what services are available and how to obtain information and resources.
Specific topics covered include:
- What is the regional center?
- What is an IFSP/IPP?
- What is the role of the parent and what is the role of a service coordinator?
- What is the Koch-Young Resource Center and other resources in the community?
- And more
