California law and regulation requires that regional centers display on their Web sites information about the dollar value of services they purchase for clients. These data (called "purchase of service" or "POS" data) must be reported separately by clients' ethnic/racial group, langauge and diagnosis.

California Department of Developmental Services presents Developing Outcomes through Person-Centered Planning
The California Department of Developmental Services, in partnership with Support Development Associates, is offering a series of virtual trainings on person-centered thinking and practices.
These trainings will be held via webinar, will help assure that key stakeholders, including individuals and their families, providers, and regional center staff are knowledgeable of, and understand the principles and application of person-centered thinking, practices and service planning.
Moving From Understanding to Outcomes
This training will provide participants with information on how to create meaningful outcomes and goals through person-centered planning. It will share examples that anyone can use to have better understanding on where to start and how to work in partnership to create a useful plan that includes goals to support desired outcomes.

Anyone interested in learning about strategies for handling risk in a person-centered way is welcome to register and attend the training at no cost to training participants. Both trainings will be covering the same information, so participants should only register for one training to preserve seats for others. There is a capacity limit of 500 for each training, and all trainings will be recorded and posted to the DDS website. When registering, please provide any needed accommodations.
