California law and regulation requires that regional centers display on their Web sites information about the dollar value of services they purchase for clients. These data (called "purchase of service" or "POS" data) must be reported separately by clients' ethnic/racial group, langauge and diagnosis.
Autism NOW Regional Summit: Los Angeles, California
The Autism NOW Regional Summit in Los Angeles is a free event (registration required) hosted by The Arc California and The Arc Los Angeles and Orange Counties and supported by the Jay Nolan Center and the Autism Society of Los Angeles. The summit format has a strong emphasis on self-advocacy and self-determination of people with disabilities on the Autism Spectrum and other developmental disabilities and also engages families and professionals in meaningful discussion on topics on concern for all of us in our community.
