California law and regulation requires that regional centers display on their Web sites information about the dollar value of services they purchase for clients. These data (called "purchase of service" or "POS" data) must be reported separately by clients' ethnic/racial group, langauge and diagnosis.
Adopt a Duck and Support FAA
The Kiwanis Club of Glendale is holding its 7th Annual Kiwanis Incredible Duck Splash on Saturday, October 15, 2011, at Verdugo Park in Glendale. This is a family friendly event with games, entertainment, and food for everyone. "Quacktivities" begin at 10 a.m. Ducks can be adopted for $5 each and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to FAA. The first place duck wins $10,000. Adopt a duck online through the FAA Web site www.foothillautism.org or go directly to the Kiwanis Incredible Duck Splash Web site(www.ducks4kids.com/index8.shtml). The last day to purchase ducks online is Thursday, Octber 13. Be sure to specify Foothill Autism Alliance as your team.
