After a federal judge halted implementation of the federal aid freeze minutes before it was to take effect on Tuesday, The White House later rescinded the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) memo on the federal aid freeze ensuring regional centers will continue to receive critical funding for support services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Office of Management and Budget did issue clarification that the intent of the memo was not to impact services such as Medicaid and food and housing assistance. It will, however, be important to remain vigilant going forward.
