Starting July 1, 2026, adults aged 19 and older with Unsatisfactory Immigration Status (UIS) will no longer receive full-scope dental benefits and will only be able to receive emergency dental services. Beneficiaries affected by this change are encouraged to schedule and complete dental checkups, cleanings, and any needed treatment while their dental benefits remain active. This does not apply to children who are 18 years old or under, former foster youth under age 26 who were in foster care on their 18th birthday, or pregnant individuals, including those in their 12 months postpartum period.
