Dear Lanterman Community,
On behalf of the Board of Directors, I am pleased to announce the appointment of Srbui Ovsepyan as the new Executive Director of Frank D. Lanterman Regional Center effective July 1, 2025.
Following an extensive, thorough and thoughtful selection process, the Board unanimously agreed that Srbui is the right leader to guide the Regional Center forward. Srbui brings to the position a wealth of experience in developmental services and nonprofit leadership, as well as a strong personal commitment to our mission and community, one that has been cultivated over many years of dedicated service within the Center.
Over the course of her career at Frank D. Lanterman, Srbui has held numerous key positions, including Service Coordinator, Service Coordinator Specialist, Regional Manager, Assistant Director, Associate Director, and most recently, Associate Executive Director. Each of these roles has provided Srbui with a unique and comprehensive understanding of the Center’s operations, as well as the challenges related to California’s budget, and the needs of the individuals we serve.
This internal promotion reflects not only Srbui’s exceptional qualifications but also our deep confidence in her vision, leadership, and longstanding dedication to the Center and the community we serve.
