In-Person National Core Indicators Survey—Your participation is requested

Let Your Voice be Heard!

Have you heard about the National Core Indicators (NCI) In-Person Survey? This Important Survey is happening right now!

Why Take the Survey:

  • The NCI In-Person survey helps regional centers in California see if everyone is happy with their services.
  • When you answer the survey with your thoughts and experiences, you help improve services for everyone.

How to Take the Survey:

  • The State Council on Developmental Disabilities (SCDD) may contact you to schedule an in-person (or online) interview at a time that works best for you.
  • If you agree to take the NCI In-Person survey, someone from SCDD will meet with you in-person or online. They will talk to you about:
    • Where you live
    • Where you work
    • The choices you make
    • Things you do for fun in your community
    • Your friendships
    • Your health

If you have questions or need help, contact your regional center representative or the State Council on Developmental Disabilities.

How Survey Answers Are Used:

  • NCI survey responses are used to help California make better decisions about services for people with disabilities.
  • All results are shared in a way that keeps your information private and confidential.
  • NCI results are shared online in three different ways:
    1. Interactive Dashboards
    2. User Friendly Reports by Regional Center
    3. Regional Center and Statewide Reports
