C.O.R.E Program

Special Needs Network (SNN), in collaboration with Lanterman Regional Center, presents an opportunity for agency partners to meet your current and upcoming workforce needs through the C.O.R.E. (Creating Opportunities for Real Employment) Program, a collaborative initiative designed to strengthen California’s disability and behavioral health workforce.

SNN in partnership with Lanterman has trained and prepared a cohort of highly qualified CORE Fellows who are now available for employment. These Fellows have completed comprehensive, job-ready training and are prepared to step into roles that support individuals with intellectual and development disabilities across a range of service settings, while helping agencies meet their hiring needs and earn a retention stipend of up to $1,000.

View an overview of the CORE Program, including details about the training Fellows receive, the types of positions they are prepared to fill, and how your agency can become a CORE employer partner.

The program is intentionally designed to support agencies in building and sustaining a diverse workforce of clinicians and interventionists who reflect the communities they serve. Participation is seamless and cost-effective: agencies retain full discretion over interviews and hiring decisions, while gaining access to a vetted talent pipeline aligned with real-world workforce demands.

Review the materials and consider partnering with us to meet your hiring goals while contributing to a sustainable, high-quality workforce serving our community. Our teams would welcome the opportunity to connect, answer questions, and discuss how CORE Fellows can support your organization. If you are interested, please e-mail tpennywell@snnla.org to get started today.

Thank you for your continued commitment to the individuals and families we collectively serve.
