The Intersection of Developmental Disabilities and Aging: Where Do We Go From Here?

Bet Tzedek invites you to a Transitions Conference with keynote speaker Laura Trejo, MSG, MPA, General Manager, Los Angeles Department of Aging. She will be focusing on adults over the age of 30 and also family caregiving issues.

This conference is for professionals, parents and other family members of adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities, as well as stakeholders.

Breakout sessions will focus on the following topics:

  • Advocacy for Stakeholders and Family Members
  • Integration vs. Segregation
  • Housing-Related issues
  • Planning Across the Ages
  • Cultural Issues
  • Health Insurance / Affordable Care Act Issues
  • Plus, a resource fair with Community Non-Profits agencies

This is a free event!  Limited space.  First come, first served.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided at this event.
