These data (called "purchase of service" or "POS" data) must be reported separately by clients' ethnic/racial group, langauge and diagnosis.
The Incredible Years Training for Parents Plus Social Skills Training for Children
Children’s Institute, Inc. would like to invite you to attend the Incredible Years Program. Focused on building positive parent‐child relationships, Incredible Years (IY) teaches evidence‐based parenting skills to help manage children’s behavioral problems. This program also includes Social Skills training utilizing two components: “Dinosaur School” for children ages 4‐8, and “Right Choices Life Success Skills” for children ages 9‐12.
The components of IY are very interactive and focus on promoting positive behaviors utilizing puppets, videos, role plays and educational games.
As the parent/caregiver of a child between 4 and 12 years of age, you will learn:
- To play with your child
- To use positive praising skills
- To ignore negative behaviors
- To use rewards positively
- To instill effective limit setting and timeouts
