Workshops for siblings between the ages of 8-14 of children with special needs served by the regional center. Sibshops is an opportunity for brothers and sisters who have siblings with special needs to obtain peer support and education within a recreational context. Sibshops provide fun, friendship and support in a kid friendly format. Kids love Sibshops because they are full of fun games and hands on activities that celebrate the important role siblings play with peers who can relate.

Regional centers must post information regarding how providers are doing with ensuring individuals served are part of their communities (Welfare and Institutions Code section 4519.2(b)). This information is to be updated at least every six months until DDS has determined that statewide compliance has been met.
