California law and regulation requires that regional centers display on their Web sites information about the dollar value of services they purchase for clients. These data (called "purchase of service" or "POS" data) must be reported separately by clients' ethnic/racial group, langauge and diagnosis.
May 6 ~ Open Sky for Autism
Being held on Saturday, May 6, 2017, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Open Sky for Autism assists families living with autism and other developmental disabilities in gaining the confidence, comfort and enjoyment of air travel.
Open to the public with limited seating, Open Sky for Autism allows for vital acclimation, repetition and supervision during a commercial airport and passenger flight simulation.
The program features:

- Ticketing, Check-in and Baggage Check
- TSA Security Screening
- Departure Lounge and Boarding
- In-Flight Simulation
- Deboarding
Open Sky for Autism's organizational partners provide expert, hands-on assistance at each of the stations ensuring a safe, educational experience.
There is $25 refundable deposit per family. The deposit will be immediately reimbursed upon checking into the event (see explanation on the registration page).
