California law and regulation requires that regional centers display on their Web sites information about the dollar value of services they purchase for clients. These data (called "purchase of service" or "POS" data) must be reported separately by clients' ethnic/racial group, langauge and diagnosis.
Disability Rights Summit: Health, Technology and the Future of Disability Rights
In honor of Disability Awareness Month, Disability Rights Legal Center will convene the First Annual Disability Rights Summit, an educational and collaborative forum for the disability community to network and learn about cutting edge issues impacting people with disabilities.
The Summit is an all-day event that seeks to raise awareness and promote the rights of people with disabilities in Southern California and beyond. The theme of this year's inaugural event is "Technology and Health" - providing an opportunity for attendees to meet local and national experts in the field of disability rights and learn about the emerging technologies that are currently making a difference in the lives of people with disabilities.
