This session will review important soft skills crucial to success in the workplace. Areas of review and practice include workplace etiquette and diplomacy, time and self-management, asking questions, making small talk, providing feedback, and note-taking.

This workshop will review best practices with interview skills, self-advocacy, and how to speak positively about yourself in an interview.
Session Six- Employment Resource Fair

This interactive session will feature Employment Vendors who will discuss their programs, and answer all questions you may have.
Cost is a Flat Fee of $365.00 for the workshop series.
The workshop series is vendored by Lanterman Regional Center. It may be available to clients of other Regional Centers as well. Inquire with your Service Coordinator.

About the Speaker/Facilitator
Kristin Kucia is an educator, a writer, and a curriculum designer with over 20 years of experience teaching and coaching people with differentiated needs. She is the Co-Leader of the Talent/HR Coalition at the BRIC Foundation, an organization that forges career opportunities for women and underrepresented populations in the entertainment industry. She creates and manages internship and mentorship partnerships for diverse artists with the goal of fostering social responsibility and encouraging DEI initiatives in the workplace. Kristin is the mother of a young man with autism, and she is passionate about teaching, coaching, and empowering young adults on the spectrum towards employment opportunities. She published the memoir, "I am my son's first sightword: growing a child with autism" in 2014 and is currently working on her second book. Kristin sits on the Board of Directors at Foothill Autism Alliance.
