Centro Regional Frank D. Lanterman en colaboración con Fiesta Educativa, Inc. presenta el entrenamiento de APEP (Autism Parent Education Program). Este entrenamiento es para padres que tienen hijos/as con el diagnóstico de autismo. El entrenamiento es de 16 horas dividido en 4 sesiones de 4 horas cada uno. Padres deben de tomar la orientación antes de las sesiones. Empieza el 05 de septiembre de 2017.

Sign, Say and Play: A Baby Signs Program

Lanterman's Koch-Young Resource Center presents Sign, Say and Play: A Baby Signs Program. Gives babies a way to “talk” with their parent - before they can talk. For parents and children birth to 3 years old to attend together, families will learn useful signs for mealtime, bedtime, bathtime, getting dressed, pets and the park. In addition, parents will learn simple ways to support their baby’s intellectual development. The first session in a six-session series starts on September 7, 2017.

Music and Movement: A Parent and Me Music Series on Thursdays

3pm–4pm

Lanterman presents Music and Movement, which brings together families in sharing songs, instrument play, rhythm chants and movement activities in a relaxed, playful, non-performance-oriented setting. Music is learned through developmentally appropriate activities that support and respect the unique learning styles of very young children from 2 to 4 years of age. Infants, toddlers and preschoolers participate at their own levels in family-style classes of mixed ages.

Navigating the Special Needs System: Service Coordination and Advocacy Training Series
