Special Workshops

Lanterman's Koch-Young Resource Center presents Toddler Talk, a six-session parent/child speech program designed for children 2 to 3 1/2 years of age with Smile Pediatric Therapy and Diagnostics. Parents will learn tips and techniques to build language skills and the program will feature, environmental sounds; letters, numbers, colors; animals; the city; food; and active bodies. The first session in the series starts on Feburary 28, 2017.

This course is offered in-person over four consecutive weeks and online as a four-part webinar, and provides families with the necessary skills and knowledge about the regional center system to make them informed partners and advocates for their family member with special needs.
