Celebrating Connection This Disability Pride Month

Community is at the heart of disability pride — and few things build community like connecting with peers who support each other. That’s what Easterseals SoCal Peer to Peer Social Group, also known as Peer 2 Peer, is all about.

Peer 2 Peer is a meetup group where members build genuine connections through shared interests and shared experience. It’s a safe, supportive space to learn, grow and just be yourself alongside peers who understand.

Together, the group explores topics like:

  • Community safety & public transportation
  • Self-advocacy & social skills
  • Social media training
  • Virtual games & current events
  • Music appreciation
  • Health, wellness & exercise

There’s real power in learning and growing alongside peers, it’s how confidence, independence and community are built together.

If you’re 18 or older and looking for connection, community and a space to build skills that support independence, ask your service coordinator about a referral to Peer to Peer.
