Training and Development Opportunities

Lanterman Regional Center is committed to enhancing the knowledge and skills of our:

  • clients,
  • families,
  • staff,
  • service providers and
  • board members.

As part of our goal of promoting lifelong learning and education, Lanterman provides information on training opportunities that focus on devlopmental disabilities and related topics and offers a number of in-house training opportunities.

Opportunities are broken down into several general categories:

  • client training,
  • family training and
  • service provider training.

We also provide information regarding external training and events that may be of benefit to Lanterman community members. Before browsing through the various trainings, please take a moment to read through the training guidelines.

Also, please note that if you are a family member or a client in the Lanterman Regional Center service area and are interested in attending a training opportunity outside the Regional Center, contact your service coordinator. For consideration, your request must be received by Training and Development three weeks prior to the posted conference deadline.
