Quality Assurance/Resource Specialist - Community Services
Full-time$3,379 - $4,326
Positon SummaryThe Quality Assurance/Resource Specialist provides technical assistance to current and potential service providers and ensures completion of vendor applications and rate tables. Position also ensures that vendor records are current; assists with development and implementation of quality service standards, and monitors assigned residential and non-residential programs. In addition, incumbent recommends improvements to services as appropriate and participates in abuse and complaint investigations. Responsible for other related duties as assigned.
Incumbent must have a bachelor’s degree in planning, social science or health discipline, and four years of experience in a health or social services agency with at least two years of experience in the field of developmental disabilities. Substantial equivalents may be substituted for the above requirements. Position also requires a valid California Driver’s license and current automobile insurance.

Positon SummaryUnder the direction of the regional manager, this position will provide service coordination with and on behalf of school-age children with developmental disabilities and their families. The service coordinator will ensure clients receive services and supports consistent with individual concerns, desires and priorities. The service coordinator will be expected to work in a partnership with clients, families, service providers and members of the community at large, especially the school district.
Education and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in social, behavioral, child development, special education or life science and a minimum of two-year work experience is required. Valid California driver’s license, current automobile insurance and adequate transportation to fulfill position responsibilities as required.
Bilingual Spanish/English required.
