Come Read “llama llama red pajama” During Story Time with the KYRC on October 6The Koch-Young Resource Center in partnership with Jumpstart will be reading "llama llama red pajama" by Anna Dewdney on Thursday, October 6, 2011 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the KYRC Library at Lanterman. The story is a rhyming read-aloud about when Baby Llama starts worrying when Mama goes downstairs after tucking him into bed, but just in time, Mama returns to set things right. Community Meetings to Address Changes to Regional Centers and Services, and Potential EffectsEach year, Lanterman Regional Center hosts community meetings to provide our key partners – individuals with developmental disabilities, their families and our service providers – the opportunity to give us feedback on the future direction and long‐term goals of the Center. This partnership is only successful when all parties involved have an opportunity to participate, and one avenue utilized by the Center to ensure that all persons interested in participating are able to is at our annual community meetings. A portion of this year’s meetings will include a review of all of the changes to the regional center service system enacted through the various budget trailer bills of the last two years and how the legislative changes may affect clients and families. Also covered will be the following topics that will address the present state of Lanterman Regional Center:
- Budget overview for fiscal year 2011‐12
