Dr. Tom Pomeranz, in this “how to” presentation explains the process for identifying and diagnosing individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who experience co-occurring conditions. Tom discusses registration laws and the indicators of reoffending. Tom provides participants with strategies for implementing programs that have proven to be successful.

Regional centers must post information regarding how providers are doing with ensuring individuals served are part of their communities (Welfare and Institutions Code section 4519.2(b)). This information is to be updated at least every six months until DDS has determined that statewide compliance has been met.
